How to Prepare for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Price Increase on 1st October

With Microsoft’s increased pricing taking effect on 1st October across various Dynamics 365 licences, time is running out to minimise the impact on your costs.

The upcoming price change is a global adjustment by Microsoft that will apply across currencies for licenses, including:

  • Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise
  • Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise
  • Dynamics 365 Field Service
  • Dynamics 365 Project Operations

The percentage increase varies depending on the Dynamics 365 product and licence type. However, you can expect an average rise between 10% and 12%.

The new pricing will apply to existing customers upon licence renewals from 1st October 2024. For example, if your Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise license agreement expires in November 2024, the increased price will be billed from then.

Act now to save

Don’t miss the opportunity to review your current Dynamics licensing before this price increase impacts you. Here are some steps you can take:

  • Renew your licences before 1st October at the current rates.
  • Avoid pricing uncertainty by fixing licence terms for 12 or 36 months.
  • Review licensing usage to identify potential unused licences or opportunities to switch to alternative user licences that could reduce your costs.

ServerSys will help you navigate this pricing change and identify areas for other savings and efficiencies, including Dataverse storage and data retention.
