Microsoft has announced an increase in pricing across a series of Dynamics 365 products from 1st October 2024.
Although Microsoft has only released US dollar prices, it confirmed similar percentage increases will apply globally.
September 2024 Update
How to Prepare for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Price Increase
Here’s a quick look at some of the changes:
Product | Price from October 2024 |
---|---|
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise | £86.30 |
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Premium | £123.30 |
Customer Service Enterprise | £86.30 |
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service | £86.30 |
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations | £111.00 |
All prices are per user/month. The Microsoft announcement has a complete list of the updated Dynamics 365 prices.
At the time of writing, Microsoft has not communicated pricing updates for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys (Real-time marketing), Business Central or Dynamics 365 Professional user licences.
Please be aware that these increased prices will apply to existing customers upon licence renewals starting October 2024. For instance, if an existing agreement for Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise is due to expire in January 2025, the new pricing will automatically apply at this point.
Potential options to mitigate or defer the upcoming price increase include:
- For new customers, activate Dynamics licences before October at the current rate. Consider fixing the existing rate for 12 or 36 months to ensure predictable pricing throughout these terms.
- Existing customers with user licences billed monthly might consider moving to a 12-month agreement. Or, for even greater price protection, some licenses could switch to a 36-month term agreement to lock in the current rate.
